I assumed this was a very long shelf or plank of some sort when I pulled it from the gutter. I cut it in three pieces using the center for the top, and the remaining wood and washers for the legs, feet, and lower shelf. It currently stands next to my parent's fireplace.
Should have placed a chair next to this so one could see that it's a desk. Found a broken modern desk that I simply rearranged, added a top, moulding, and a brushed nickle light.

These flower lights were given away. I struggled for a long time on what to do with them. I had some peg board, an old handle, a metal emblem, and wood. Then it came to me...a gardener's box with these flowers inside that could be hung on the wall for decoration, or accent lighting.

I have another bundle of lights, but I don't "mass produce". So I'm currently waiting for another idea to come about.
The top was a spare, black glass modern cabinet door. I thought mixing in some traditional legs would yield something different.

I can't force inspiration. Sometimes it comes; other times it's helped along. A neighbor's table gave me the idea to use these spare legs for one of my own. Fence pickets make up the top, white paint, and suddenly a country coffee table is born.
